Rick Ross’ “Hustlin'” LMFAO Lawsuit “Laughed” Out of Court

Rick Ross may have been “hustlin’ backwards” when filing a lawsuit to protect his first hit song, because a judge just laughed him out of court. Rozay filed said lawsuit against EDM duo LMFAO, accusing them of ripping off his song Hustlin’ for their hit song Party Rock Anthem. For the proof, Rozay sited the hook on their song is “Everyday I’m Shufflin'” and his song, which dropped first is “Everyday I’m Hustlin’.”

However, what hurt the suit is that Rozay somehow filed 3 separate copyright applications, which were inconsistent and incomplete.  Being that the docs were so poorly drafted, the judge decided Rozay had no copyright protection, hence the suit was thrown out of court.
