YG’s Friday morning got off to a very bad start, as LAPD came to his home with warrants and searched his home, resulting in him being taken into custody.
According to TMZ, police arrived to the rapper’s San Fernando Valley residence around 4 AM PST with both a search and arrest warrant connected to robbery case.
After the search was done, YG was then arrested and taken into custody. He would subsequently be booked on robbery. No word on what the police found during their search.
No word on whether their search was also connected to a murder case in which YG’s SUV is connect to, where someone in the vehicle shot and killed a 65-year-old man on a bicycle.. The rapper has denied any involvement in that case, saying he was recording music in a studio during the time of the homicide.
