For rising singer/songwriter/rapper Rell Douyan the vision is much greater than just music. His debut single Honest is a song about being stuck in a toxic relationship, Rell losing his girlfriend, who then finds someone else, then over-coming and leveling up after everything went sour.
“When I wrote this song, I was in a hard place, working 12 hour shifts, coming home to endless bills, people seem to take advantage of you when you are most vulnerable, but it’s about bouncing back, I use music to express myself, hopefully inspire other minds.”
Rell “Laurel” Douyon is originally from Boston, MA but moved down to Atlanta, GA to pursue a music career. Rell is a well rounded musician with an eclectic combination of song-writing and rapping/singing abilities, he plans to blend the genres of R&B, Rap, and Rock in his future releases.
Coming from a family of 8 Rell is inspired by his mother’s ability to raise 8 children and still spoil each one individually. Rell plans to use his music success to create MWM (March With Me) Clubhouses across the globe for bullied children & at risk kids to have a judgement free place to go and thrive after school.
