Chief Keef had his house burglarized, but cops were in his neighborhood, and caught 3 alleged burglars red-handed — but not before one of them opened fire.
According to TMZ, The suspects hopped a wall and threw bricks through a window to enter Keef’s San Fernando Valley home Sunday around 11:15 PM. At least one of them got into the home, and was in the process to taking of some the rapper’s possessions.
Unfortunately for them. LAPD had plainclothes officers patrolling the area due to a recent uptick in burglaries, and they were able to thwart the burglary, and one suspect fired a shot — which didn’t hit anyone — which led to a chase. Officers nabbed 2 of the perps, but one managed to flee in a getaway car.
What makes it interesting is that Keef was home during all of this, but obviously in another part of the home. Cops went to the house and spoke to him afterward, and he expressed shock at burglars getting into his home.
The 2 burglars who were caught are being booked on burglary and weapons charges.
