Kanye West has ditched Wyoming as a place to record, instead trekking it to South America to record with none other than Tekashi69.
TMZ reports Ye flew down to Colombia Tuesday to spend time with 6ix9ine … the plan being for the two artists of differing ages to come up with ways to bridge the gap between Hip Hop generations.
They spent hours in the studio recording together, but they also dished out some advice to one another, with Kanye giving Tekashi industry and business tips … and 6ix9ine giving Yeezy insights on how the Internet is changing the rap game.
By all accounts, everything went well, with the energy between the 2 going off the charts, as they both learned a lot from each other. No word yet if they plan to release any new tracks from their sessions, but if they do … it’ll be hard to top Kanye’s new single with Lil Pump I Love It, which broke the record set by Childish Gambino’s This Is America as the most streamed video on YouTube over a weekly span with over 115 million views.
In related news … 6ix9ine got some new teeth while he was in Colombia too. He then flew overseas for a show in Moscow, where he got bum-rushed on stage … before his crew gave the guy an old-school beatdown.
