Looks like you may be seeing Joe Budden at a Workforce One center near you, as Complex won’t be renewing Joe Budden’s contract, effectively ending his tenure as co-host of their successful web series Everyday Struggle. Speculation of his departure started earlier today after Budden fired off a set of tweets, stating that his absence had to do with “internal chaos.”
Billboard spoke with Complex, who confirmed the split saying, “Joe Budden is not continuing as a host on Everyday Struggle in 2018. The show will be back in the New Year with all new episodes and guests. We wish Joe all the best and thank him for a great 2017.” Joe also alluded on Twitter that he and Complex couldn’t agree on a contract.
But all is not lost for Joe, even if “some love” has been between him and his former employer. His tenure on the show reminded people that he has the personality that will probably land him somewhere else. He’s also a new dad, so there’s more time to be with his seed. Of course, there’s that rapping thing that he’s so good at.
