The year’s of the NFL using the musical superstars of yesteryear are over as they have tapped Beyoncé to headline it’s halftime show. More after the jump.
Fans have been eager to see her live on a more consistent basis after her hiatus, and what better stage than the Super Bowl? This will be the way for Beyoncé to perform her hits as well as to promote any new material that she’s working on. This will be the second time she will participate in a Super Bowl as she sang the national anthem at the event back in 2004, in her hometown of Houston.
An official announcement of this future performance will be made on Wednesday, October 17th. Super Bowl XLVII will be taking place on February 3rd at the Mercedes Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
