Rapper 50 Cent will be starring in a new movie titled Dead Man Running. In a recent interview with the BBC, English actor Danny Dyer gave details of the move, which apparently will be a gangster movie.
“It’s about one guy who basically gets in a serious bit of trouble with a real gangster and he’s got one day to live or he’s going to get ironed out if he doesn’t raise the funds,” Dyer said. “So, it’s basically about a dead man running, which is him, and I play his sidekick who’s trying to get him out of trouble.”
Also to be in the movie is actor Tamer Hassan, who along with Dyer has starred in movies like Football Factory (2004) and The Business (2005). This is also the latest role 50 Cent has gotten, who recently played a prominent role in Righteous Kill, a movie starring Robert DiNero and Al Pacino.
Dyer also expressed his excitement with working with 50. “I don't know about him as an actor. He's definitely a presence We come from totally different backgrounds but he's a great artist.”
No release date for the movie has been revealed but you can catch 50 on December 9th, in Before I Self Distruct, a movie which is named after his upcoming album.
