Young Jeezy To Finally Become A Voter

by I.G.O.D. Wednesday, September 3, 2008

Young Jeezy likens himself to many nicknames, ranging from Trap Star to Mr. 17.5 to Snowman. You will now be able to add Registered Voter to that list as he will register to vote for the first time in this coming election. This will all be part of the events celebrating the release of his fourth solo album The Recession, which dropped yesterday (9/2).

The festivities are scheduled to take place tomorrow (9/4) in Atlanta and will include and in-store, a concert and a release party that will bring out a who's who of Hip Hop. The most important event, however will be a voter registration drive, which will take place at P Diddy's Justin's Restaurant from 5pm-8pm. It is there, where the 30 year old rapper will officially become a registered voter.

Also, in support of The Recession's release, Def Jam and CTE will host a special Jeezy performance tonight on Wednesday at the Tabernacle, which culminates a frenetic two weeks which has seen Jeezy travel the country promoting his new album.

That hard work seems to be paid off as Jeezy is expected to top the Billboard 200 this week.
