Hip Hop Icon Tupac Shakur may be considered the most important figure that music has ever known. Blender Magazine would beg to differ. They recently rated him as the overrated person in music, according to Reuters.
In Blender's October issue which drops this week, Pac is on a list that includes the Grammy Awards (#7), encores (#12), Pink Floyd (#14) and "the music you loved as a teenager" (#23).
Tupac who gained most of following after his premature and still unsolved death in Las Vegas in 1996, has released over a dozen album posthumously. People have also concocted conspiracy theories depicting Pac as being alive and living in som remote part of the world. Blender isn't impressed, call him a decent rapper with, "insane rock-star charisma," whil also saying that he, "larded records with self-mythologizing, mediocre filler."

I would agree with the most overrated in Hip Hop. But I think Frank Sinatra is the most overrated Musician(i use this losely) ever. Dude spoke other peoples lyrics over dull melodies. Generations of mahfukkas would murder your mom if you talk slick about dude. Disgusting
This whole article is like 4-5 years late and nothing more then Blender's way of getting attention. I think it's corny and contrived.
Jay-s is by far the most overrated person in hip hop. He has surpassed Tupac in recent years. The blind Tupac love has really faded the last few years. Jay? The opposite. He's been painted as the best rapper of all time, which he is not.

I really don't get why people give a fuck what a magazine thinks. I don't read that shit so I don't give a fuck I just know about it because a bunch of morons are going ape shit over it. They should get over it and not let a magazine decide or think for 'em, think for yourselves man!
